Tantric knowledge of the ten karmas – vashikaran, akarshan, videshwan etc, is now completely fragmented, with many aspects lost. You can see that when you look at all the websites offering services for getting your lover back or dealing with enemies – it is cook book stuff; pay your money and we will do the ritual on Tuesday. Didn’t work? Pay more and we will do it again…

One clue is what the site says about Maran – “for ethical reasons we do not use Maran”, which is to be applauded if you think Maran means killing someone. If you need a contract killing ask someone who knows someone to do the job. Before I tell you what Maran is really about, let’s explore further on the problems with Tantra.

Cookbook Tantra

As I said, the cookbook approach to Tantra is so obvious and endemic, no wonder the public does not trust these Gurus. There is enough knowledge to know how to do the rituals, but there lacks any kind of insight or sophistication into what has been done.

How do you become an expert in Tantra? You need to be initiated into a lineage and be guided by an expert, and recite the mantras until you reach siddhi or perfection. That is a truncated version admittedly, but I doubt even that happens. As a Ghora (a white man), who does not have the native advantage is somewhat difference. My experience is Silence and continuous initiation. The nature of initiation is that you do not know what the outcome is – or that when it happens! This allows for complete innocence – the initiatrix is also going through a test – will he be able to appreciate and go forward with the experience?
