The Servitor Crystal and Magick
The Servitor Power Crystal was originally created in response to magickal attacks on the author, as the true story below describes. While everyone has heard of the Voudou Zombi or Zombie, or the Tibetan Tulpa, the Servitors are far more dangerous simply because the methods of the Servitors have been kept secret - until now.
Kenneth Grant links the Zombi to HP Lovecraft's term Shoggoth, and in particular the tunnel of Niantiel, ruling spirit of the Death card. The method of creating a Zombie is through sex magick - see Nightside of Eden by Kenneth Grant. The Servitor Power Crystal has been upgraded to function not just as a powerful method of creating Servitors, but also to protect the user from Zombies, Tulpas, Shoggoths, and any other evil creation. If you feel you have been attacked by one of these creatures, you need a Servitor Power Crystal. Keep it with you at all times, and use the blunt end of the Power Crystal towards the Zombi to suck it into the Power Crystal for it to be destroyed.
A true story about Servitors
Information on Servitors in the occult community is remarkably vague and not much use to magicians. For example, Servitors are portrayed as a sub-species of Golem, but of course Golems are not easy to create either. According to the literature, Servitors are artificial spirits created to do a specific purpose, such as finding a job, or lover, or attacking someone magickally. Once the purpose is achieved, the Servitor is supposed to stop functioning or disappear.
If you possess our Crystals, there is little to fear from Servitors, since the high energy levels provided by the crystal will overcome a Servitor. However, recently the author experienced a problem that would not go away - it was caused by black magic - no big news there, but the solution was not forthcoming. In itself, the problem was negligible; another testament to the power of the Crystals, but it was obvious it would get worse if nothing was done about it.
There are secret techniques for using Crystals, which I put into operation with my colleagues. Information was forthcoming from the spirits, who were Servitors, and they were glad to talk to me (another indication of the power of Crystals).
Spirits are not stupid, despite claims to the contrary, and the high level of intelligence exhibited by these Servitors made it clear that they were not artificial spirits. The Servitors sent against me were not artificial spirits; they were a class of spirits invoked by powerful magicians. One characteristic of the use of Crystals in magical operations is that once the Spirits come up against Crystals, they lose. They also recognise the superior technology and immediately become friends with the possessor of the Power Crystals.
At the same time I was shown how these Servitors were invoked, and who they are. These Spirits are none other than the 316 Servitors of Abra-Melin! Very little is known about this aspect of Abramelin (I wonder why.?), but there are people in the world who have the knowledge to invoke the 316 Servitors. Now, the 316 Servitors have made it clear to me that they prefer to be known and available to magicians around the world via Crystals.
