Protocols for Accessing the Akashic Records using the Tarot

This ritual will take some months to complete, so you will need a sacred space where you can keep the Tarot cards in the order that they were shuffled and dealt out. Learning the basic techniques of Elemental Dignities, card counting and pairing up to at least Chapter 5 is desirable. Study of Chapter 6 is advantangeous, as this describes how to analyse and find the 'unaspected' cards, which represent the spiritual powers that may appear from higher levels.

To access the Akashic Records, you will need the Thoth Tarot deck dedicated solely for your Holy Guardian Angel and the Akashic Records, my book Tarot and the Magus, and the Tarot Power Crystal set, a pen and notebook. Place the Thoth Tarot deck on the book, and the Tarot Power Crystal set on top of the deck and book. This will energise the tarot. Then carefully shuffle the tarot deck, concentrating on reaching higher levels of conscious to access the Akashic Records. Cut the cards into four piles as described in Tarot and the Magus.

Each String of cards will have to be analysed and interpreted, but to start simply look over the Strings and get the 'feel' of what the reading is about. The first attempts at reading will be about events around you in your life, and the past. As you penetrate deeper levels of the reading, analysing the changes and transformations of the elements, and start to focus on the 'unaspected' cards and how they manifest in the reading, your awareness will change. Hold the base of the appropriate Tarot Power Crystal on the unmanifest card to avert 'negative' events, and use the point of the Tarot Power Crystal on the unmanifest to energise and manifest the events it represents.

Over a period of weeks and months, your awareness will change, you will become sensitive to subtle changes, and your dreams will become profound. As your eyes run over the, by now, very familiar strings of cards, you will begin to see visions that may or may not relate to the mundane meaning of the cards. At this stage you will also be familiar with the techniques in the remaining chapters of the Tarot and the Magus, and have studied the Spirits of Liber 231. It is important not to alter in any way the order of the cards, or change any reversed cards. Making a list of each string of cards is a good idea.

7 Power Crystal Tarot Reading of Will

Requirements: a sacred space, Thoth Tarot Deck dedicated to Transformation and Power, the 7Power Crystal set (you may require a second set for the Tarot), and my book Tarot and the Magus.

Familiarity with the Elemental Dignities, Counting and Pairing as described in my book Tarot and the Magus is required. The powers of the 7 Power Crystals are:

  1. Love
  2. Clairvoyance
  3. Psychic Protection
  4. Health
  5. Age Extension
  6. Good Luck
  7. Money

This order is not necessarily fixed, and you may experiment to find one that works for you.

After charging your tarot deck with the 7 Power Crystals, and determining the purpose of the ritual (which may have developed from your Akashic Record reading), decide whether you desire to manifest or demanifest. Manifestation readings will lay the cards out in a clockwise direction, while Demanifestation readings have the cards laid out in anti-clockwise direction.

If the purpose of the reading is to enhance health, it would be Manifestation reading, so start dealing out the cards in seven piles clockwise. The first card would be Health, then Age Extension, Good Luck, Money, Love, Clairvoyance and Psychic Powers, Psychic Protection. A good idea is to have seven cards each with a power written on them so you can easily see the order. When the cards have been dealt out you will have one card remaining. Place this card just outside the circle at a convenient place. By dealing out the cards in seven piles you will have created a vortex of 11 revolutions. 11 is the number of Magick and Change, so the changes desired will have already started.

Turn over the seven piles in order, (always work in the direction of the Vortex created). Note any significant cards. In this example, take the Health pile and spread it in a String of cards, and interpret using the ED rules, counting and pairing as described in Tarot and the Magus. Replace the pile in the Circle, being careful not to change the order of the cards. Work through the other strings, in order to become familiar with the contents of each. If you are satisfied with the outcome indicated by reading all seven strings, place the appropriate Power Crystal on top of each pile, working in the direction of the Vortex. The 78th card placed outside the circle represents either the outcome or outside influences, depending on how the reading is interpreted. You may wish to place the 7 Power Crystals on this card .It is difficult to give advice on this aspect, but your experience with working with the Tarot and Power Crystals will have strengthened your insight and intuition. Remember that the Akashic Records can be changed!

To further enhance the effects of manifestation/demanifestation, choose appropriate lunar phases to commence the reading: Waxing Moon for manifestation and Waning Moon for removing influences.

For best results, the cards need to be laid out in their respective Strings, with the 7 Power Crystals for a lunar month, i.e. New Moon to New Moon or Full Moon to Full Moon. During this period, as you notice changes, go back to the Strings and re-evaluate, seeing how your knowledge and insight has increased.
